Since February 2013, the Indie Detroit Wedding Ring has been a growing online resource for couples wanting a wedding rooted in the values of handmade goods. Just under a year after their launch, IDWR is proud to announce they will be presenting a bridal show that will cater to those handmade brides/grooms in search of local artists to contribute to their wedding.
Saturday, March 8, the Detroit Indie Wedding Show will debut at the Rust Belt Marketplace in Ferndale from 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Vendors from the IDWR will be on hand to book appointments, show work samples and give couples countless ideas and endless inspiration for their upcoming weddings.

What is the Detroit Indie Wedding Show?
The DIW Show is an alternative wedding show that is being held at the Rust Belt Marketplace. It is an event presented by the Indie Detroit Wedding Ring, an online resource for couples who are planning handmade weddings in southeastern Michigan.

I am an IDWR vendor, how to I participate?
All IDWR vendors will receive information on how to participate via email on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
What if I am NOT an Indie Detroit Wedding Vendor?
If you are not part of the IDWR, you can fill out an application here. The IDWR is a highly edited collection of indie wedding service providers from self-owned boutiques to a-listers. We accept vendors that we feel will be the best match for our Indie/DIY-focused audience. To be eligible to participate in the event, you MUST have applied to be in the IDWR by midnight on January 17th, no exceptions.
What will be the cost to vend?
There are several ways IDWR vendors can participate (all are non-refundable):
Level 1—FREE—Add your flyers or business cards to the IDWR swag table.
Level 2—$30—Add one handmade item to our styled wedding display table.
Level 3—$80—An 8 foot table and two chairs. Vendors choosing this level must physically attend for the entire duration of the event.
Important Dates
JANUARY 17—You must have applied to be part of the IDWR by midnight on this date to participate as a vendor.
JANUARY 22—Information will be sent to IDWR Vendors on how to participate.
FEBRUARY 2—Deadline for vendors to secure a space at the show. All payments will be due on this date.
MARCH 8—Date of event!
