With so many amazing wedding vendors in the area how do know if they are an indie wedding vendor or not? Thats a good question and one that is easier to show rather than tell, but we'll try anyway! A good start is to imagine vendors you would find at the DUCF, and then add a wedding filter and voila! Indie wedding vendor. Of course, if you want to be text book about it, here are a few defining characteristics:
- Small boutique, independently owned by the person making the product
- Produces high-quality, handcrafted items that can be customized to make unique keepsakes for weddings
- Exhibits a DIY spirit and has a modern wedding design esthetic
- Supports the local DIY community
